Honesty

Not being especially into this sort of thing myself, I was surprised at Obama's prayer at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. It shouldn't have been published and by drawing attention to it myself, I am violating Obama's privacy too. But I think it is such a telling note because it seems so genuine and immediate. His first prayer is for protection, not of the State of Israel or world peace or whatever, but of his family and himself. I wonder how much that weighs on them. I thought for most of last week that I thought he might get assassinated when he was overseas. It all seems very much from the heart. And that is another reason I support Obama.
