Stephen pretends to be something he's not, succeeds

I got invited to sit on a panel on 'The End of Religion' at the American Anthropological Association's annual meeting in December. I'm happy about this because it allows me a crossover audience for my work, and also a chance to see occasional friend of the show and bromance Berto and his wife, although she's not a part of the bromance. It's a win-win-win for everyone involved.

And before you get your panties in a bunch about the 'End of Religion', note that the name of the meeting is 'The End/s of Anthropology' and looks to be full of all sorts of 'What are we doing anyway?' conversations, which I think are the best possible kinds of conversations. I, for one, am not holding my breath about the end of religion.
