As I slip into my 29th year, surrounded by the birth of another daughter and my PhD, I have been draw to the shorter quotes in Nietzsche's
Human, All Too Human. So, after the limited success of
my month of Walker Evans, I give you a month of Nietzsche. Some quotes are good, some are not so good, and some are great. I hope to represent a good mix here. Don't worry, I will avoid racist and sexist extracts, although I do recognise, as one always must when quoting Nietzsche, his more pernicious tendencies. I don't think this negates his writing: as I said when I first started reading him in the summer of 2009: Nietzsche put his finger on the problem, not the solution. So. Here we go:
